Brownie Canyon Mine
40.60900, -109.76053
A guy told me about finding this mine while out hunting. I went up later and found it in 2003. Someone went to a lot of work there to dig that hole. It goes straight down for about 20 feet and is about 10 feet around, probably due to the sides sloughing in. I don’t know what they were digging for or if they found any of it. Someone has been digging in it recently, so I don’t know who or when the original miners began. If anyone knows the history of this mine, let me know so I can put it here.
