Welcome! The owners, Greg & Yvonne Gardner, are lifelong Uinta Basinites and know what a special place this is for outdoor enthusiasts. We also own and operate the Moon Lake Resort and run the two facilities in tandem. This provides synergies to accommodate everyone's needs that were not possible when operating separately.

The Lodge was originally built in 1952 as a meetinghouse for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Throughout the years, this historic church house has evolved from church to country store, to private residence, convenience store, gas station, bed & breakfast. It is currently a small hotel and great room (event room) capable of holding large group events that could last several days with our guest room accommodations.

The property includes hotel accommodation lodging with seven guest rooms: six with an in-room fridge and microwave and one with a complete kitchen. Access to the main kitchen is included with the rooms. There are no restaurants in Mountain Home (the nearest is in Altamont, 15 minutes away), so bring your own food to cook in the kitchen, or on the grill out back. Guests can enjoy relaxing in the large, fully-fenced backyard, equipped with a gazebo, fire pit, barbecue grill, and swings for the kids. The courtyard outside Suites 1 and 2, is also a great place for smaller groups to gather.

This is the perfect location to bring friends and family to enjoy the beauty and majesty of the surrounding mountains and canyons with very comfortable accommodations.

Come as guests, leave as friends.
